Tips to reduce Daily Back Pain

  • Strengthen your core muscles – Strengthening your core will take the pressure off of your lower back. The core is one of the least utilized muscle groups, so it’s essential pay extra attention to their development.
  • Stretch daily – Many back problems are caused by tight muscles. Stretching properly can reduce back pain.
  • Avoid sitting with poor posture – Sitting with poor posture can add a lot of pressure to the discs in your back. Make sure you’re sitting up straight and get up and moving every so often.
  • Monitor your sleep position – When you wake up in the morning, take note of the position you’re in and if you’re in pain. If you sleep on your back, place a pillow under your knees to reduce pain. If you’re a side sleeper, put the pillow between your knees.
