Clamshells: Start by lying on your side with your knees bent and feet together. Keeping your feet together, lift your top knee away from the bottom knee, opening up like a clamshell. Lower back down and repeat on the other side.

Side-lying leg lifts: Lie on your side with your legs straight. Lift your top leg as high as you can while keeping it straight and then slowly lower it back down. Repeat on the other side.

Fire hydrants: Start on all fours with your hands directly under your shoulders and knees under hips. Lift one leg out to the side, keeping it bent at a 90-degree angle. Lower it back down and repeat on the other side.
